Description
The Prophetic Psalms
by J. R. Church
This lecture will take you to a live audience, gathered to hear one of J. R.'s favorite prophetic presentations, The Prophetic Psalms. His lecture will give you the sense of being there as the mysteries embedded within the Holy Scriptures are revealed. It is not an ordinary study in prophecy. The concepts are deep and profound, worthy of your undivided attention. This presentation will give you a greater appreciation for eschatology, the doctrine of last things. It offers convincing proof that God gave the Biblical prophets certain visions of the future and these views were recorded in the Bible.
The Psalms tell the story of the rebirth of Israel in the 20th century. Compare Psalm 17 with 1917, when the British liberated Jerusalem; or the obvious pain and anguish of Psalm 39-45, representing the years 1939-1945, when six million Jews perished in the Holocaust at the hands of Adolf Hitler; or Psalm 48 with 1948, the year the nation of Israel was born! The Psalms are the 48th book of the Bible from the front and the 19th book counting backwards from Revelation! 1948! The year the prophetic clock really started ticking.
Compare Psalms 73-89 with 1973-1989. These Psalms allude to Israel's quest for Temple worship. During this time, the Temple Institute produced various "tools" of the Temple. A laver, garments for the Priesthood, vessels for carrying blood, and silver trumpets, over 90 of the tools required for Temple worship have been built! Psalm 91 gives a graphic view of the 1991 Desert Storm War, so graphic the soldiers were reading Psalm 91 during the battle. The prophetic significance of Psalm 102 is discussed at length in this lecture. The Psalms actually deliver a prophetic pattern for modern Israel! Question: What happens next? The possible answers in the Psalms may shock and surprise you!
